The Method

Lagree, is Lagree.

Not Pilates. Not modern Pilates. Not high-intensity Pilates. A strength-based workout that progressively overloads your muscles using time under tension.

What is Lagree?

Slow is the point.

Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact, full-body workout on Lagree's spring-loaded machine, built on slow, controlled movements.

The springs never let go, so your muscles never get a break, and there's no momentum to carry you through a rep.

How 45 minutes works.

Time under tension.

Sustained tension recruits slow-twitch muscle fibers that short, fast reps rarely reach.

No momentum.

Spring-loaded resistance keeps muscles working through the full range of motion. No rest between reps, no swinging through the hard part.

Low impact, full body.

No jumping, no pounding: the intensity comes from load and control. Legs, glutes, core, arms and back all work in every class.

What consistent training builds.

  • Strength

Slow, loaded reps and progressive overload build real strength.

  • Definition

Controlled, high-tension work builds lean, sculpted muscle.

  • Endurance

Forty-five minutes of continuous effort teaches your body to hold on longer.

  • Longevity

Progressive overload, adding resistance as you get stronger, can help build bone density. Stronger muscles and low-impact movement help protect your joints.

  • Focus

The mind–muscle connection it demands leaves no room for your inbox.

  • Progress

There's always a harder version, so you keep moving forward.

So, it's hard?

Yes. Ten minutes in, you'll shake. That's normal, and it's where the work happens.

New to it? Every exercise has a modification, and your instructor walks you through each transition. You don't need to be in shape to start. You just need to come back.

Results vary with consistency, sleep, nutrition and your starting point. Tell your instructor about any injuries or physical concerns before class.
